Star Wars

Genre: 3D 1st-3rd Person

Players: 1

Platform: Arcade

Developer = Atari

Difficulty = ?/10 / Unknown

Tidbits: Atari, although very popular, often lacked depth and refinement. However, thanks to them many many original ideas in gaming were offered to players. Star Wars is well known as having the first well done digitized voice in a video game. As the years went on, many developers refined certain genres of gaming, Atari however, innovated new original ideas. And if the idea wasn't all that original, they were bound to put a big twist on the game.
Also, this game was done in the once popular "vector" graphics. This style of graphics should live on, even a more recent master piece named "Tempest 3000" shows how this style is fun forever.

Warriors of Fate

Genre: Beat'em Up

Players: 2

Platform: Arcade (CPSII)

Developer = Capcom

Difficulty = 2/10 / Easy

Tidbits:Capcom is at it again, at greatness that is with this original title for the arcade. One of the best beat'em ups ever made. Also look up Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and Alien vs Predator. This style of gaming involves game play and while you're playing you get to go on an adventure. Although shooters have lived on till present, this style is much missed. Fans of this style should certainly admire Capcom's creations.

Out Zone

Genre: Overhead

Players: 2

Platform: Arcade

Developer = Toaplan

Difficulty = 2/10 / Easy

Tidbits: Again, great music from Toaplan and one sharp game. This game moves, it has it's challenge and the visuals are grade A. There's a lot of shooting so it's a bit like a vertical shooter, but technically is and overhead adventure type. Clearly in the top 10 of all of Toaplan's games. A must play for arcade style gamers. Highly replayable!

Nemo

Genre: Platformer

Players: 2

Platform: Arcade

Developer = Capcom

Difficulty = 2/10 / Easy

Tidbits: As one of the "Big 5" in Japan, the center of gaming, Capcom is hard not to run across. Although, unlike some of the other "Big 5", Capcom has outstanding consistency. It is less likely to have a love-hate relationship between Capcom and it's fans. Nemo almost feels a bit like an Irem game, it's atmosphere has a great feel to it. Certainly a whimsical adventure into the imagination. Arcade and Capcom fans must play this one.

Pnickies

Genre: Puzzle

Players: 2

Platform: Arcade

Developer = Compile / Capcom

Difficulty = ?/10 / Unknown

Tidbits: Okay, so even when Capcom doesn't develop the high quality game, they are smart enough to publish it - see Shantae for the GBA! Compile made some really excellent games for some of Sega's systems and made some appearances in the Arcades as well. Another rare hardcore development studio. As far as the puzzle genre, well they aren't gameplay plus an adventure, but they certainly are gameplay, and often with excellent replay factor. So enough is enough - get to playin'!
