Tidbits: Capcom, the great, is back creating more art to play in this arcade masterpiece. Capcom really came to master the genre of Beat'em Up. You get to do fighting game like gameplay but you aren't stuck in the same place like the downfall of fighting games. You get to go on an adventure while you're pounding the enemies.
Hellfire
Genre: Horizontal Shooter

Developer = Toaplan
Difficulty = 5/10 / Medium
Tidbits:Toaplan is the master of shooter music. The actual gameplay ain't so shabby either. Some very innovative concepts have come from Toaplan. The company lives on in part, as Cave. Although, the feel, atmosphere, and style is unique to the Toaplan series of games. They did make mostly shooters, however, their other games are also of high quality.
Caveman Ninja
Genre: Platformer

Developer = Data East
Difficulty = 5/10 / Medium
Tidbits: Another from Data East. Another arcade company to go bye bye. The movie industry saved movie theaters, but the game industry sat on their butts and let premier gaming in the arcades first die die die. Thanks to the goliath companies for screwing up this for all of us. Anyway, Data East was an American path through for many Japanese games. Much like Atari games, they lacked the depth and refinement of the big 5 over in Japan. But, they did innovate and gave us some original ideas.
Thunder Dragon II
Genre: Vertical Shooter

Developer = NMK
Difficulty = 2/10 / Easy
Tidbits: NMK is a small company that is rather rare. It was like a division or partner with SNK of the great Neo Geo, or at least oddly close to them. This game was produced oddly enough not on a Neo Geo.

Ninja Masters

Developer = ADK / SNK
Difficulty = 5/10 / Medium
Tidbits: Unfortunately, most of the mighty Neo Geo game collection was 'sold out' ported out to other game systems. However, there were a couple rare Neo Geo exclusive gems. Ninja Masters is one of them. Often overlooked and under rated. This is an excellent fighting game. A true model also for the art style of sprite based gaming!
